YUGO KORAL - GV GVX INOCENTI 1980- 2008.

PRVI YUGO JE SKOPLJE RUCNO 2. oktobra 1978  I BIO POKLONJEN PREDSEDNIKU  SFRJ JOSIPU BROZU TITU, a serijska proizvodnja je počela 2. oktobra 1980te. Izvoz u Veliku Britaniju je počeo 1983.

 Mali uspesan auto koristio je platformu fiata 127, a bio je pravi auto za gradske guzve, okretan i lak za parkiranje. Proizvodio se i CABRIO model,veoma popularan za one koji vole sunce inisu zabrinuti da ce im vetar pokvariti frizuru.
Cabrio je imao   platneni krov koji je podesen elektronski tako da se nije  izlazilo iz vozila da bi podigao krov ako je to potrebno.  Cabrio model je imao mali gepek, ali dovoljan za osnovne stvari. Bio je jako popularan   zbog svog izgleda, velicine i potrosnje. Yugo GV I GVX modeli sa tvrdim krovom  su bili iizvozeni u  Evropu i Ameriku. Motori male kibikaze i potrosnje, su bili u trendu 80-tih zbog toga jer je pocela kriza sa naftom pa  je pocela   masovnija  proizvodnja manjih potrosaca. Yugo je auto koji ima mnogo obozavalaca u svetu - iznenadjujuce ali istinito-To je automobil  koji moze - uz minimum ulaganja- da se sredi i poboljsa u svakom pogledu. U srbiji mnogi mladi od svojih Yugo modela prave odlicne gradske zujalice. U Americi neki mladi vole Yuga zbog njegovog sarma, ali neki ga tamo smatraju izuzetno losim - razmazeni vozaci-, a neki sasvim dobrim kolima - sto on i jeste, bar za nase Srpske uslove, podrazumeva i nase puteve-. Pojava „Juga“ u Americi osamdesetih godina je bio ekonomski napredak svetskog značaja na polju malih vozila u toj zemlji, kako su u septembru 2007. i navele američke novine USA Today. Setimo se da je Yugo naterao General Motors da prodaje Suzuki Swift kao i Chevrolet Sprint, dok je Ford napravio malu „Festivu“ od korejske verzije „Mazde“ 121.

Koral predstavlja razvoj modela Jugo 45, nastalog 1980. godine. Od početka proizvodnje, sa traka je sišlo preko 750.000 primeraka. Stigao je u mnoge Evropske zemlje, ali i preko okeana, u SAD. Koral je bio najtraženiji Zastavin model. Mali gradski automobil, jeftin, jednostavan za održavanje i parkiranje. Na domaćem tržištu je bio bez konkurencije najjeftiniji automobil (protivvrednosti oko 3500 evra). Koncepcijski i tehnološki zastareo automobil sa početka 1980ih. Koral je imao nekoliko vrsta motora koji su u glavnom bili zapremine 1100 kubnih centimetara, preuzeti iz Fijata 128. Motori su imali 45, 55, 60, 65 konjskih snaga. Menjač je bio petostepeni, osim kod modela „Koral 45“ gde je bio četvorostepeni. Enterijer je spartanski sa lošom završnom obradom. Najveći problem, a naročito zimi, predstavljalo je grejanje koje počinje da radi tek kada se motor dovoljno zagreje. U „Koralu“ postoji mogućnost ugradnje radio uređaja i čitača kompakt diskova koji se ne dobijaju uz vozilo. U kasnije modele je ugrađivan i upaljač za cigarete.

 U Americi je stekao veliku popularnost svojim dimenzijama i niskom cenom. Zamerali su mu -opravdano- za američke uslovelos kvalitet, Ipak je  postao  poznat automobil koji ima čak i svoje klubove obožavatelja  u Americi. Jugo se pojavljuje i u nekim od HOLIVUDSKIH  filmova.


 CABIO
Još krajem 1980ih godina Zastava je u svom proizvodnom programu imala kabriolet na bazi modela Tempo/Koral  GV GVX. Mali automobil je nastao na osnovu želja američkih kupaca, ojačanjem celokupne školjke, sa posebnim naglaskom na ram vetrobranskog stakla. Od početka je pravljen sa krovom koji se automatski podiže i spušta sa četiri mesta za sedenje. Mali, živahan, atraktivan, jednostavan i lak za održavanje izrađivao se sa motorima 1,3l u verzijama sa dvogrlim karburatorom ili elektronskim ubrizgavanjem.
Poslednji primerak juga je sišao sa proizvodnih traka 11. novembra 2008. nakon 794.428 proizvedenih primeraka. Fabrika „Zastava“ zvanično je prestala sa proizvodnjom 20. novembra 2008 na zalost kupaca u Srbiji za koje je to bio jedini nov automobil pristupacne cene koji su sebi mogli priustiti i joj vecu zalost radnika Zastave koji su ostali bez radnih mesta.
